I feel like I should be selling hot dogs and peanuts. This is funny to me … pathetic I know … but I just can’t keep from giggling.

I didn’t think I was going to have anything to blog about after the election. I’m happy. Obama won – Sarah “Africa is a country” Palin is back in Alaska. (At least until she appoints herself senator that is) – the entire world seems like a better place today – AND! I’ve had some free time to clean my house! :-)

But, too bad for me that I had the news turned on this morning.

Apparently, a couple of peaceful monks (at least I thought that monks were supposed to be peaceful) were getting ready to have a ceremony at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher to commemorate the finding of the cross believed to have been used in the crucifixion of Jesus.

Armenian monks tried to start some kind of procession and a Greek monk felt like he needed to join in so that he could represent the Greek Orthodox church. That way, the Armenians couldn’t claim rights to the structure that is built on the place that they believe is the site of Jesus’ crucifiction.

Basically, it was a “toddleresque” – “It’s Mine! NO it’s MINE!” fight between two men of the cloth.

Have a look …
